July/August newsletter reminder :

In order to prepare the presentation of your work during the last steering committee that will also give the chance to assess the job that was done, to finalize our website and plan to pursue our project, please find some aids for your presentation:

  • What are the avenues/possibilities you would propose in order to exploit the different resources of the module?
  •  How to emphasize one of the specific points of our site as far as the very notion of « crossing views » is concerned.

Concerning those 2 points, it would be interesting to develop a practical example of a way to use the module resources through “the crossing views” spirit.

  • What kind of dissemination and repercussion do you plan for the project long term exploitation?

Please, do not confine yourselves to summarizing the major points of the work that was done during the two-year project (the results can be seen on our site and it will be necessary to synthesize the project for the report required by the European Commission) but you will have to structure your presentation around these 3 main lines to close the project and plan its exploitation.
Please send us a copy or a summary of your presentation before the steering committee, so that we may best organize your speech.

2- TRAINING MODULE

INFOREF is still working on the new version of the website which is focused on the training module.
There is still one grid that is missing up to now…
The updated site, that is not completely finalized, will be soon on line.

Reminder: Each partner is invited to point out and let us know possible technical problems (accessibility to documents, links that would not work…), languages problems or any other problems. The modifications will be made as soon as possible.

A new version of the « directions for use/instructions leaflet of the site » suggested by the AEDE-EL Belgium was sent to you last month. Further to the different comments we received, the technical committee’s version was reconsidered. Consequently, we will work on the basis of the AEDE-EL Belgian proposition in Peronne. has been drafted and proposed by the technical committee.
The final directions for use that will be enriched with your practical examples through the crossing views spirit will be adopted in Peronne, then translated into the different languages of the partnership in order to be uploaded on our website.

3-Final Report

June newsletter reminder:

The final report must be sent to the European Commission by September 30th 2009 that is the deadline of the project.  In order to prepare it, each partner will have to complete the following elements and sent them back to us by September 10th,  2009, so that we may  modify or  complete them during the steering committee.
Because of the holidays of every one of us, the time limit is very short and no delay will be accepted by the commission. Thank you to meet the deadline and don’t hesitate to contact us for any information.

First part: Involvement of staff

Third part: Financial aspects

With one exception, the 4th part of the commission payment was done in June, as announced.
The last part corresponding to 20% of the total amount, that is to say the balance of the subsidy will be paid only after the report ratification. This could take several months. Consequently, you will probably have to advance the amount of the expenditure.
Yet, you will have to mention the whole expenses within the Excel table, and send us your last proof payments by September 10th in order to carry out the last checks during the steering committee (expenses of Péronne will have to be added).

NB :

1- Before the drafting of the final report, it should be helpful to read through again the evaluation that was done by the Commission further to our progress report.
You got a paper version during our steering committee but you can find it on line, on our website too:
http://europe14-18.eu/preview_site/fr/telechargements/_0119153748_001.pdf

Moreover, we suggested you should reread our two external evaluators’reports: Klaus Edel and Michel Hérode that are available on the site, in the evaluation part.
